Giampaolo Cuozzo received his M.Sc with honors in Telecommunications Engineering and his Ph.D. in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technologies Engineering (ET-IT) from the University of Bologna in 2019 and 2023, respectively. He is currently a researcher at WiLab with the role of Small-Scale Wireless Networks Research Area Leader. His research interest focuses on the MAC protocol design and optimizations for Mobile Radio Networks, including THz-based and 5G NR architectures, with a particular interest in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications.
