RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURES

Name: Indoor Active/Passive Localization

Site: Cesena

Responsible: Enrico Paolini

Description: A fully configurable indoor localization network based on UWB technology. The network is available both in a decentralized version and in a centralized one and lends itself to the study and implementation of data fusion algorithms and context-based applications. Available for testing IoT systems (eg RFID) and indoor propagation. A drone arena equipped with multi-static UWB radar, FMCW radar, infrared, and ultra-wideband positioning systems, allows validation of active/passive localization technologies, also operating on drones (UAV).

Access: Available upon request.
