Junior Project Manager

WiLab is the National Laboratory of Wireless Communications of CNIT (National Inter-University Consortium for Telecommunications). WiLab has been founded in February 2020 and includes sixteen employees, about 80 professors, researchers, Ph.D students and collaborators from several National Universities, working together with industry stakeholders on National and international projects. Wilab pursues long-term and applied research in the fields of the Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile Radio Networks (4G/5G/6G), Vehicular Communications, Localization and Tracking, Applied Artificial Intelligence. WiLab has also objectives of scientific dissemination and public engagement.

WiLab is looking for a junior project manager. The candidate will work in close cooperation with two other project managers (out of which one is senior and coordinates the area), one admin staff. He/she will report to the Management Coordinator and the WiLab Director.

Job Responsibilities
In this role, the candidate will:

  • Support the project management of National and International projects
  • Support the coordination and management of internal activities, such as the preparation of meeting minutes, reports, maintenance of databases
  • Support the management of contracts with collaborators and stakeholders
  • Participate to the organization of events generated by the lab (meetings, workshops, dissemination events, or events dedicated to the general public, etc)
  • Liaise to the WiLab Director and the researchers

Competence Requirements

  • Master’s degree in any field related to ICT is not mandatory, but it is considered a plus;
  • Very good knowledge of both Italian and English;
  • At least two years of past experience in project management.

Contract details
CCNL Enti di Ricerca e Sperimentazione, level to be defined according to the candidate’s skills and experience, between V and IV, Area Gestionale.
